Middleburg Orange Pony Club and Middleburg Horse Trials


The Spring and Fall Combined Tests and The Middleburg Horse Trials are fund-raising activites for MOCPC!  These events provide funds to enable us to subsidize activities to further the horsemanship of our members.  We cannot host these events without the legion of volunteers who make them possible.  If you are interested in volunteering at our competitions, please fill out our form and let us know!


We are a volunteer-run organization so we are ALWAYS accepting additional help with Pony Club activities. Here are some ideas for assisting for former pony clubbers and parents:

    • Mentor a D
    • Mentor a C
    • Teach a ground school
    • Chaperone a rally
    • Be a rally coordinator
    • Organize and inventory the Jockey Room MOC equipment
    • Help out at a lesson: set up jumps, take down jumps, and water the instructor, jump crew
    • Paint a jump(s)/label jumps
    • Insurance Coordinator (all done on internet)
    • Volunteer at a rally
    • Coordinate volunteer schedules for Combined Test
    • Coordinate volunteer schedules for the Middleburg Horse Trials
    • Book facilities for ground schools and lessons
    • Set up a ground school for the kids. (maybe you know someone or about something the kids would enjoy.)
    • Make jump numbers for show jumping and/or cross country fences
    • Help plan special camp activities
    • Attend the regional meetings
    • Participate in camp activities - getting lunches for instructors, organize a fun activity, and help set up the schedule, line up instructors, and supervise the kids.
    • Be a rally coordinator
    • Be the paperwork collector for MOC
    • Be a New Member Liaison
